Cheesy Blintzes

Cheesy blintzes are super delicious and definitely worth your attention. You will not regret if you make this recipe on your day off from all daily routine. Those blintzes are fun to make because it doesn’t require much time, first of all, and then there is also 1 more secret to make them fluffy. You either mix vinegar with baking soda, or Kefir with baking soda and mix a whole mass approximately 10 minutes so there is no crumbs inside. This is one of my favorite recipes to make for my family. I hope you enjoy it and post some comments for me.

Classic Beet Salad

Classic Beets Salad can be made into one dish, or separate mini sandwthiches just like I presented in the picture. This is one of my absolutely favorite dishes because I love beets and I grew up in the country where beets are number 1 food. We make different kinds of dishes from beets because it is so common. In Russia we eat beets every other day. Why I like Beets? because it is vegetable and it doesn’t make you full and heavy.

Beets are very healthy in general. They contain lots of Vitamins such fiber, magnesium, phosphorus, Vitamin C, iron, Vitamin B6. There is so much more to add to that. If you google, you will find way more information.

Beef Pastries

Beef Pastries

Beef Pastries recipe came all the way from Lithuania a long time ago. They are also called “Kibinai”. Usually Lithuanians make those kibinai on holidays and birthdays. Russian Strudel

Russian strudel is one of my favourite recipes to cook. It tastes so delicious and cooking is super fast. This is definitely worth tasting it with a cup of cappuchino in the morning or a hot orange spice tea in the evening. Russian people also call this strudel a pie. The sweetness in the pie comes from the jam, so the pie is not too sweet and  is just perfect. My husband said it is his favourite pie he has ever eaten.

Potatoe Pancakes with Meat Filling

This is what I did with my mashed potatoes, I turned them into juicy potato pancakes with meat filling. I really love beef so I tend to use beef quite a lot. But these pancakes can be used with chicken too. You could buy already cooked chicken, cut it into small pieces, sauté onion and carrots, add 1 tbsp of minced garlic and here you go, you have a great filling done. Or you could use beef just like I posted and see what you like better.

Cake “Napoleon”

“Napoleon” Cake is good to bake for any occasion and it is really truly delicious. Either it is birthday party for your child or for adult, it could be Christmas celebration or New Years party, it tastes amazing. I wanted to add more recipes to my website so I thought I will start with the Napoleon. It is pretty common cake but everyone does it differently by adding or removing few ingredients here and there. Russian people mostly bake this cake from the scratch, other people buy the puff pastry in the store thus minimizing the time for preparing which is also smart. I love to do it both ways. You know who loves this cake the most? My husband, that’s for sure. Who wouldn’t? I think the picture  speaks for itself.

Beef tacos with Chipotle sauce

Beef tacos with chipotle sauce

First time i had these delicious beef tacos with chipotle sauce was at the Mexican restaurant in Lithuania. They were done a little differently but i made it my own way and they came out really good. As far as the sauce, of course it is always the best when you make your own, but sometimes you just wanna make quick tacos for lunch or dinner not worrying about extra ingredients for the sauce. I love these tacos, because they are different and every ingredient is chosen to make perfect complexion.
