Fresh Cabbage Soup

Fresh cabbage soup is truly tasteful and definitely worth attention as the spring and summer approaches, people tend  to  eat something lighter, less heavier. Here is a perfect example of one of the many recipes that you would be interested in.

I have always eaten soup with pickled cabbage that is a very common Russian soup and the recipe is about to appear on my website.  Why is this soup so nutritious? Cabbage has a lot of folic acid which is good especially for pregnant women for baby development. It also has Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6 and a great source of fiber which is good for digestion. Vitamin K is very good for bone metabolism and if you eat this vegetable you will supply yourself with enough amount for daily requirement. I recently made a recipe from a red cabbage and I am amazed how many variations you can cook from it.

Of course, the first person to try my new recipes is my husband and I can freely call him a professional food taster. He will always tell me if it is good or if I need to try to make it differently. Every recipe takes time and I post only the best ones. I hope you enjoy this Russian creation with me and I would like to hear from you comments.
